Common questions
How does the blood draw work?
For this event, your first blood draw takes place on-site at PurposeMed offices on June 16th, between 8:00am and 11:00am. Select the membership and a time slot that works for you, and secure it by completing your checkout. Slots are limited, so we recommend securing yours early. Future membership blood draws are scheduled at home at a time that works for you. A certified phlebotomist comes to you, and the draw takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Fasting is recommeded but not required, but your confirmation email will include any specific prep instructions for your panel.
Why is this price different from the website?
PurposeMed and MyHealthspan arranged this pricing specifically for employees attending this on-site clinic date. The discount off your first payment is not a promotional code or a public sale. It is a rate our team reserved for this community, in recognition of the partnership and the employees showing up for their health. Your membership renews at the standard rate, and you can cancel anytime.
How long until I get my results?
Results are typically processed within 3β4 days after your blood draw. As soon as they're ready, they appear in your MyHealthspan app, already reviewed by a nurse practitioner and scored with your Longevity Score. You can book your coaching session the same day your results arrive.
Can I cancel or pause my membership?
Yes. You can pause or cancel anytime with no penalties or hidden fees. Your membership is billed in full at checkout (not monthly), and if you need to pause before your next cycle, just contact our team. We'll send you a reminder before any renewal charge.
Is this covered by my benefits plan or HSA/FSA?
MyHealthspan memberships are HSA and FSA eligible. Many employer health spending accounts cover preventive health services like ours. We provide a detailed receipt you can submit for reimbursement. If your employer offers MyHealthspan as a benefit, you may also be eligible for a discounted or fully covered membership.
How is this different from the blood work my doctor orders?
A typical GP blood panel covers 10β15 markers and is designed to detect existing conditions. MyHealthspan tests 40 to 70+ biomarkers depending on your tier, including markers your doctor typically won't order, like ApoB, Lp(a), hsCRP, hormonal panels, and advanced metabolic markers. The goal is early detection and optimization, not just diagnosis. And you get a longevity coach to help you act on the results, which your GP visit doesn't include.
What's the difference between Focus, Starter, and Baseline blood panels?
All three test your core blood health: CBC, lipid panel, inflammation markers, and thyroid. Starter adds metabolic depth (Glucose, Calcium, Magnesium, B12, Uric Acid) and biometric measurements. Baseline adds the full hormonal panel (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEAS, cortisol), advanced thyroid (Free T3, Free T4), and complete iron metabolism. If hormonal health or advanced thyroid matters to you, Baseline is the tier where that data lives.
Which membership is right for me?
