How do I know my PeoplePerks discount is applied?
You arrived through People Corporation, so your member rate of $399/year is automatically applied at checkout. You'll see it reflected on the product price and again on the cart and checkout pages. No code or verification step is required. If for any reason you don't see it, contact us before completing your order and we'll fix it.
How does the at-home blood draw work?
After you purchase your membership, our team reaches out within 48 hours to schedule your blood draw at a time that works for you. A certified phlebotomist comes to your home, and the draw takes about 10–15 minutes. Fasting is recommended, but not required. Your confirmation email will include any specific prep instructions for your panel.
What is the In-Clinic draw option?
If you're in Ontario or Manitoba, you can choose to visit a Dynacare walk-in location for your blood draw instead of having a phlebotomist come to your home. No appointment needed. Just walk in when it's convenient for you. The tests, results, coaching, and everything else about your membership are exactly the same. You'll save an additional $100, bringing your PeoplePerks rate to $299/year. This option is only available in provinces where Dynacare has a broad walk-in footprint.
How long until I get my results?
Results are typically processed within 3–4 days after your blood draw. As soon as they're ready, they appear in your MyHealthspan app, already reviewed by a nurse practitioner and scored with your Longevity Score. You can book your coaching session the same day your results arrive.
Can I cancel or pause my membership?
Yes. You can pause or cancel anytime with no penalties or hidden fees. Your membership is billed in full at checkout (not monthly), and if you need to pause before your next cycle, just contact our team. We'll send you a reminder before any renewal charge.
Is this covered by my benefits plan or HSA/FSA?
MyHealthspan memberships are HSA and FSA eligible. Many employer health spending accounts cover preventive health services like ours. We provide a detailed receipt you can submit for reimbursement. If your employer offers additional MyHealthspan coverage as a benefit, you may also be eligible for a further discounted or fully covered membership.
How is this different from the blood work my doctor orders?
A typical GP blood panel covers 10–15 markers and is designed to detect existing conditions. MyHealthspan tests 50+ biomarkers, including markers your doctor typically won't order, like ApoB, Lp(a), hsCRP, and advanced metabolic markers. The goal is early detection and optimization, not just diagnosis. And you get a longevity coach to help you act on the results, which your GP visit doesn't include.
