4
Optional Longevity Coach session Review your results with a coach and receive a personalized cognitive training protocol and lifestyle recommendations grounded in your specific profile.

What You'll Learn

  • Your current cognitive performance across memory, attention, executive function, and processing speed — the four domains most sensitive to early cognitive change.
  • Whether your cognitive age is ahead of or behind your chronological age, based on comparison to your age group in the reference population.
  • Which cognitive domains are your strengths and which may benefit most from targeted training or lifestyle intervention.
  • Specific evidence-based interventions — in nutrition, sleep, exercise, and cognitive training — tailored to your individual profile and goals.

What's Included

  • Online multi-domain cognitive assessment (30-45 minutes, completable from home)

Who This Is For

This is for someone who wants a baseline measure of their cognitive health while they are still at their sharpest. They may have noticed small changes in memory, focus, or word retrieval that they want to understand, or they simply want to establish a benchmark they can track over time. This assessment is often chosen by high-performers in demanding careers who rely on cognitive function as a professional asset and want to protect it proactively. It is equally valuable for people between 40 and 70 who want to identify any early signals of cognitive change before they become noticeable to others. This is a test for people who believe protecting their mental sharpness is as important as protecting their physical health — and who want data, not reassurances.

What This Assessment Measures

Working Memory

Your ability to hold and manipulate information in mind over short periods. Working memory is essential for reasoning, decision-making, and following complex tasks — and is one of the first domains to show age-related decline.

Recall and Retention

How accurately you encode new information and retrieve it after a delay. This assesses both immediate recall and longer-term memory consolidation, two distinct processes that can decline independently.

Sustained and Selective Attention

Your ability to maintain focus over time and filter out distractions. Sustained attention reflects vigilance; selective attention reflects your ability to target relevant information in a busy environment.

Executive Function

Higher-order cognitive control including problem-solving, planning, and cognitive flexibility — the ability to shift between tasks or perspectives efficiently. This domain is strongly linked to overall brain health and professional performance.

Processing Speed

How quickly and accurately your brain processes information and initiates a response. Processing speed is one of the most sensitive markers of cognitive aging and neurological health.

Cognitive Reserve Benchmarks

Your composite cognitive performance compared to age-normed population data, revealing whether your overall cognitive age is above or below your chronological age across domains.

"Life-changing. I'm not kidding. The biomarker data alone gave me a sense that I should be eating better. But the coaching session helped me see the deeper patterns, uncovering key insights about my overall lifestyle. I'm just about to turn 40, and I'm so glad I did this now."

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as a clinical neuropsychological evaluation?+
No. A full clinical neuropsychological evaluation is a multi-hour in-person battery conducted by a licensed neuropsychologist and is typically ordered when a specific diagnosis is being investigated. The MyHealthspan Cognitive Function Assessment is a wellness and longevity tool — a validated, multi-domain assessment designed to establish a performance baseline, identify relative strengths and weaknesses, and guide proactive brain health strategies. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not produce a clinical diagnosis of any condition.
What does the assessment test, exactly?+
The assessment is a series of computer-based cognitive tasks, each targeting a specific domain: memory tasks test encoding and recall; attention tasks measure sustained focus and the ability to filter distractions; executive function tasks assess planning and mental flexibility; and processing speed tasks measure reaction time and information processing efficiency. Each task is calibrated to detect subtle performance differences that are clinically meaningful but often unnoticed in daily life.
How long does the assessment take?+
The full assessment takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. We recommend completing it in a single sitting, in a quiet environment without interruptions, to get the most accurate reflection of your cognitive performance. You can complete it from any desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection.
Can results be affected by how tired I am when I take it?+
Yes, to some degree. Fatigue, stress, and poor sleep on the day of the assessment can affect performance, particularly in processing speed and sustained attention. For the most representative baseline, we recommend completing the assessment when you are reasonably rested and not under acute stress. If you feel your results do not reflect your typical performance, you can discuss this context with your Longevity Coach during your review session.
Does this test diagnose any condition?+
No. The Cognitive Function Assessment is a longevity and wellness tool. It does not diagnose dementia, Alzheimer's disease, ADHD, or any other neurological or psychiatric condition. If your results raise concerns that you would like explored further clinically, your Longevity Coach can help you understand what follow-up might be appropriate to discuss with your physician.
